Digital Humans – The Sociable Side of Technology

12th-18th February 2015

Palazzo della Triennale, TIM4EXPO space, Viale Alemagna, 6  (Milan)

Young artists and digital universe were the lead actors of the Exhibition, organized in cooperation with TIM4EXPO, “Digital Humans – The Sociable Side of Technology”…young and rising artists exhibited some works on the theme of men and technology in the digital era.

Speaking about technology could look like a cliche, given the strong actuality of the topic. The majority of news we are affected by concerns a harmful use of technology, which, instead of helping us to connect, seems to push us to ignore each other.

The pros, but mainly the cons of technological issues are often discussed and this fact leads to an inevitable clash of opinions. For this reason, in contrast with the aura of controversy surrounding the topic of technology, we wanted to propose, through the work of our artists, a positive view on digital themes, in order to remind us that there is the man behind the technological progress. Nothing better than the works created by our young artists, with the support of technological tools, could bring us to understand how the technological progress isn’t at all a cause of isolation, buti t is actually a reason of sociability and socialization.

“Digital Humans – The Sociable Side of Technology” took place from 12th to February 18th, 2015 at Palazzo della Triennale in viale Alemagna 6, Milano, in the expositive space TIM4EXPO.
