Giada Fedeli, known professionally as Gammaphì, was born in Volterra January 7, 1984.
Afer finishing the high school, she attended the Bachelor of Arts in Cinema, Music and Theatre at Faculty of Humanities at the Univerisity of Pisa.
Gammaphì has always drawn, but it was back in 2007 that she began painting seriously.
Her early studies focused on self-portraits and woman has become her main subject.
Over the years she painted tirelessly and in 2010 she made her first exhibition at Palazzo Gambacorti in Pisa and, in parallel, within the prestigious kitchens of the Royal Victoria Hotel.
Expositions and Live Paintings came in quick succession in various Italian cities: Florence, Livorno, Rome, Catania, Lecce and other smaller towns.
Her pictorial language becomes progressively recognizable: its strength is given by the color and the marked stroke.
The Gammaphì women don’t give up; they speak, they get upset, they love and they uncannily live between reality and dream. They speak to the viewer constantly, until he turns to be a party to the secrets embedded in the Veil of Maya.
