The artist Paolo Albanese has been painting for 30 years. He attended the school of his uncle graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, a pupil of master Bruno Saetti and a friend of Carmelo Zotti. He has learned the art of painting from the ancient Italian masters under the careful guidance of his master and patiently and humbly for years he has devoted himself to the copy of other works using pigments, oils, and other things, not to obtain copies, but to understand what the art of painting really was.
Since 2003 he has started to research to express his style. For years he has been trying to not be trivial or to repeat what had already been done in modern and contemporary art. Among countless personal difficulties he is aware that he has achieved his purpose. According to the artist, spilling blood always rewards with the idea that the saying “class is not water” confirms the truth. In the last period, the painter paints less: not always human flesh remains healthy ab aeternum, and when the time comes, the consequences must be accepted. At this moment he would still like to be able to travel to exhibit his work all over the world, but as a true painter he is considered poor and accepts the reality that he can not exhibit anymore, since the primary condition today is to pay.
The style of his paintings can be defined as metaphysical, eschatological, as something “spiritual“.
