After completing her bachelor degree in Cultural Heritage Sciences and her graduate course in Digital Arts, she begins a journey of strong artistic experimentation, where photography is the protagonist and allows her to express her imagination. Margherita defines the lenses as a “third eye“, through which she can instantly observe and freeze objects and people and places in their surrounding environment, as well as their amalgamation, disconnection and recovery. The result of this association is a kind of symbiosis, a solid mutual relationship in which you wonder: what is the subject?
She uses the digital tool, along with the analogic one, with which she is focusing assiduously. For her research, Margherita finds that the union of different artistic languages is essential: for this reason she often uses graphics, collage, design and typewriter.
She often redesigns her shots with the aim of creating surreal environments updated with contemporary society and its contradictions and delicate issues, with the purpose of reflecting on and asking questions about what surrounds us.The strong black and white, the light and the colors that come out of the vinyls and of the atmosphere of the sixties, the theatrical environment, which has accompanied her for all these years, and continuous experimentation are a constant of her photographic work.
