Today we have the great pleasure to interview its founder: Steven Music.<br \/>\nAn introduction: who are you?<br \/>\nI\u2019m a multilingual born in Italy, with British and German origins, who believes in constant research and comparison of ideas, forms and activities.<br \/>\nWhat\u2019s your role in the world of art?<br \/>\nAn informal role, invented to break up old patterns of prizes in Italy, I wanted to find new banks to promote the activities of artists and their works through a dynamic network, Celeste Network.<br \/>\nThe italian contemporary art in three words:<br \/>\nIn three words: Paths, Race and Gender. Paths because the number of exhibitions and events continues to grow, a &#8216;continuous loop&#8217;; Race because the artists and gallery owners are always competing and Gender refers to the promiscuity of people, languages and cultures related to the world of art.<br \/>\nIn the art sector, we move from a qualitative finesse rarely original, to an incontestable \u201cout of time\u201d, but well executed but harmless.<\/p>\n<p>Could you suggest us a way to bring the public closer to the new art? What is missing?<br \/>\nWe must make it clear to the public that after Auschwitz the beauty is a suburb of contemporary art. People need to be prepared to the value of the visual design and to support the production of works that invite us to interact directly with them at all stages.<br \/>\nA dispassionate advice to a young artist: what\u2019s the key ingredient?<br \/>\nAlways check around with some ease, without precedence over things. Be sensitive and generous, and not (ego)centric towards the investigation of the content that you are facing.<br \/>\nWhat\u2019s the first step to carry out in the art world?<br \/>\nProjecting your work outside themselves and concentrating on the outside, on what surrounds us..<br \/>\nWhat are you dealing of at the moment? Is there any project that you want to talk about? The latest edition of the award?<br \/>\nWe have just completed the fifth edition of the prize, Celeste Prize 2013, curated by Ami Barak. Cosa manca?<br \/>\n<em>Dobbiamo far capire al pubblico che dopo Auschwitz il bello \u00e8 una periferia dell\u2019arte contemporanea, preparandolo invece al valore dell\u2019indagine progettuale visiva e a sostenere la produzione di opere che invitano ad interagire direttamente con esse in tutte le fasi.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Un consiglio spassionato ad un giovane artista: quale l&#8217;ingrediente fondamentale?<br \/>\n<em>Guardarsi sempre intorno con una certa disinvoltura, senza anteporsi alle cose. Essere sensibili e generosi, e non (ego)centrici verso l\u2019indagine dei contenuti che si stanno affrontando.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Il primo passo da compiere nel mondo dell&#8217;arte?<br \/>\n<em>Proiettare il proprio lavoro al di fuori di s\u00e8 stessi, concentrarsi sull\u2019esterno e su ci\u00f2 che ci circonda.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Di cosa ti stai occupando oggi? C\u2019\u00e8 qualche progetto di cui ci vuoi parlare?
