The gallery of Mostrami meets Ilario Belometti, self-taught painter who combines figurative and abstract paintings to the papier-m\u00e2ch\u00e9.<\/em><\/span><\/div>\nIlario Belometti, self-taught artist originally from Bergamo, since his childhood he is attracted to artistic expression to reality that begins to play giving life to figurative painting landscapes and portraits using oil colors and acrylic.
\nThe evolution of his increasingly artistic surprise for the unexpected, non-obvious and non-rhetorical moves him towards to abstractionism. The search for forms and colors exploding in his work is based on total freedom of expression when trying to capture that flash, the flash and the originality that has made great Turner, Pollock, Malevich and Kandinsky, to name a few. At this stage, his art is “contaminated” and “enriched” by the inclusion of recycled materials such as copper, tin, iron, rope, cardboard and all that his hands are able to transform and harmonize with his painting. Looking at his works you forget the original purpose of the elements that complement each other, as if there could be no other destination. The same ability to shape materials is also expressed in the processing and handling of paper-pulp from which he forms objects and especially strange and unique masks, sometimes unsettling and always expressive.<\/p>\n

La ricerca di forme e colori che esplodono nei suoi lavori \u00e8 basata sulla pi\u00f9 totale libert\u00e0 espressiva volta a cercare di cogliere quel lampo, quel guizzo e quella originalit\u00e0 che ha fatto grandi Turner, Pollock, Malevic e Kandinskij, solo per citarne alcuni.
\nIn questa fase, la sua arte viene \u201ccontaminata\u201d e \u201carricchita\u201d tramite l\u2019inserimento di materiali di recupero come rame, stagno, ferro, corde, cartone e tutto ci\u00f2 che le sue mani riescono a trasformare e armonizzare con la sua pittura. Guardando le sue opere ci si dimentica la funzione originaria degli elementi che le completano, come se non ci potesse essere altra destinazione.
