MostraEvento in Sicilia<\/span><\/h1>\n

Mostrami <\/strong>has organized the first Sicilian MostraEvento <\/strong>showing off the young artists <\/strong>of the island<\/strong>: 10 days of art, culture and workshops<\/strong> designed for young people in the beautiful location of Palazzo Forcella De Seta in Palermo.<\/p>\n

The exhibition saw over 100 works by 20 emerging artists from all over Sicily, invited to participate as a result of a call for artists who called them to express their interpretation of Sicily through the artistic medium chosen by them. Of the 20 artists on display, only 4 won the prizes at stake: the top three, Chiara Polizzi (painting), Luca Mannino (sculpture) and Salvatore Rivolo (illustration) were rewarded by the joint judgement of the Technical Commission of experts and more than 1000 visitors to the exhibition. The fourth prize, called Web award @rtist was won by Filippo Papa thanks to the appreciation of online users.<\/p>\n

Important part of the 10-day event were the 5 workshops on territorial marketing linked to culture <\/strong>and the management of artistic and cultural products<\/strong>: structured training meetings for high school and university students, attended by more than 400 students.<\/p>\n

Over 10 mentors and testimonials have been able to prove to young students the success that a business, cultural and not, can have in Sicily (and not only). The entire MostraEvento was an opportunity to create a network of young people, start-ups and the art world of the island in a perspective of networking, collaboration and mutual inspiration.<\/p>\n

Last but not least, a big feedback as well as a further opportunity for exchange and meeting was obtained during the official opening night of the exhibition and the award ceremony: opportunities for the artists involved, for the companies that have supported us and for the public who had the opportunity to know part of the world of Sicilian emerging art.<\/p>\n
